Personal Profile
My day is at my studio painting in oil, acrylic and watercolour as a fine artist. I spend as much time as I can outside or at home in the studio, sketching with various media. These paintings and sketches are the emphasis of this art shop. I am also doing professional photography for the benefit of my artistic develoment from time to time.
Critique
Shahrin's works of art are very refreshing and stimulating. His backdrop of the rural scene in Malaysia adds to the exotic appeal of his paintings. His paintings are done in acrylic with vibrant colors that seem to come alive as you watch them. His painting of his son is a masterpiece in the making. The colors are remarkably alive and soulful. It speaks of his great love and devotion to his son. There's still a lot of potential for this Malaysian artist especially if his work will be recognized internationally.
