
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (January 27, 1756- December 5, 1791) was a prolific and influential composer of the classical era. His 600 compositions include works widely acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music. Mozart is the most enduring and popular of classical composers, and many of his works are part of the standard concert repertoire. Mozart died on December 5, 1791 at Prague.
